Klaus Kümmerer (Recipient)

Zum zweiten Mal zeichnet das schwedische Pharma-Unternehmen Recipharm eine Persönlichkeit mit seinem „International Environmental Award“ für die beste ökologische Leistung innerhalb der Pharmaindustrie und der universitäten Forschung aus. Am 18. Oktober 2009 wurde der Umweltpreis mit einem Preisgeld in Höhe von 30.000 Schwedischen Kronen (etwa 3.000 Euro) in Stockholm an Professor Klaus Kümmerer vom Institut für Umweltmedizin und Krankenhaushygiene des Universitätsklinikum Freiburg verliehen. Der Preis soll vor allem innerhalb der Pharmaindustrie zum Dialog über den Umweltschutz anregen.
