"Population Economics Summer School" International Max Planck Research School of Demography (IMPRSD)
This intensive week-long Summer School is aimed at postgraduate students in economics, demography, and related fields. The School intends to introduce the participants to new models and results in the interdisciplinary field of economics and demography. We have invited six leading economists and economic demographers to present methods and approaches at the research frontier. Lecturers will address, among others, intergenerational transfers, fertility models, endogenous health and retirement decision making, the demand for contraception, decision making within households, and the late life effects of early-life economic conditions
