Please join us for an update to the extended Going Green blended-learning curriculum from Teach About US. Find out how you can join the project cycle 2017/18, participate in the nation-wide competition with your students and find a partner school in the U.S.
The goal of Going Green is to foster interest in innovative sustainability research across the curriculum including the humanities, languages and STEM/MINT subjects, to encourage civic engagement, and develop job qualifications for young people. In addition to offering the regular extended curriculum again in the 2017/18 school year, we are featuring a project week addressing renewable energies from a science and cultural studies perspective. The Teach About US team will explain how teachers of grades 5-13 can bring this intercultural project to their classrooms. Teach About US is a partnership between the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Leuphana University Lüneburg, and LIFE e.V. Get Involved! Reaching Young People Through Innovative Teaching and Learning About Sustainability.
