With the Sustainability Leadership Forum, initiated by B.A.U.M., the German Environmental Management Association, and CSM, the Centre for Sustainability Management, a working and discussion group of pioneers in corporate sustainable development was created. The goal of the forum is to secure and advance the leading position of the participating companies in the area of corporate sustainable management by continuing education programmes, the exchanging of experiences and networking. The members of this selective group are companies that have already distinguished themselves through excellence in sustainability management and are also engaged in developing future corporate sustainability strategies. The main purpose of the Sustainability Leadership Forum is to provide a platform for knowledge transfer, developing solutions to specific problems through the direct exchange of experiences and know-how, between business, academia and politics. Three meetings are held each year, with participants selecting the topics and then discussing in small groups key issues, national and international trends and the practice-oriented implementation of sustainability management. In addition, the latest ideas and concepts of sustainable management are discussed so that their successful implementation in business can act as a stimulus to others and set new standards.

Members of the Sustainability Leadership Forum include the following companies: Bayer Schering Pharma, Deutsche Post DHL, Deutsche Telekom, HypoVereinsbank - Member of the UniCredit Group, IKEA Germany, memo, Munich Re, Provinzial Versicherungen, Sensient Food Colors Germany, TUI, Weleda.
